JVC Everio S GZ-MS100 Flash Memory Camcorder with 35x Optical Zoom

Used Price: $201.99
Customer Review: Excellent for low-budget and mid-range expectations!
I think flash memory is the best feature of this camcorder. I have an 8gb high-speed card that works wonderfully. I can EASILY import clips into iMovie, which was my biggest worry prior to purchasing this camcorder. This is a great, no-nonsense camera for recording my little girl's every move.
Customer Review: what a piece of crap!
I got this JVC GZ-MS100 for Christmas, and I must say it is of low quality. I have owned JVC video products before, and have always been impressed with their quality and reliability. But this particular camera I have to take issue with on several features: 1)the USB port-it is on the micro scale of USB ports, very small and quite difficult to connect the cable-it sits on the front of the camera, right next to one of the strap holders(a loop of metal that the strap is attached to). It is located so close to the strap holder that it is very difficult to attach the USB cable-it's like their research department never actually tried to connect a USB cable here. 2) the laser touch sensor-it makes menu navigation cumbersome and slow. 3)the image stabilizer does not seem to work at all on high zoom settings and just barely on normal wide setting. I wasn't expecting steady-cam level performance, but this is ridiculous. 4) As other reviewers have mentioned, it does not work with Macintosh. I have a 2008 iMac,and this camera is totally useless to me.I cannot get the files from the SDHC card into my Apple. The person who bought this for me knows I have an Apple computer, and said the salesman told her it works with Macintosh-WRONG! Reading the fine print on the carton it came in,under the heading "System Requirements" I see that it says for Macintosh "The software for Macintosh is not included."In the manual it has a page about File Backup on a Macintosh which basically tells you how,cable-wise, to attach the USB cable-it does not address the fact the CD-ROM has nothing that can be used by an Apple.Nor does their website offer any software driver downloads. 5)it is a terrible owner's manual. Not only is it written by Japanese who still do not understand English syntax, but there are entire areas of usability that are not even mentioned, such as a paragraph about files and format on the File Backup section,or how to use the included card reader. After being so impressed with JVC products years ago, I am shocked to see how far they have fallen.

Opteka HD² 3 Piece (UV, PL, FL) Filter Kit for Canon VIXIA HF10, HF100, HR10, HV10, HF11, HG21, & HG20 Digital Video Camcorders

Price: $49.95
Customer Review: Great value for money
These lenses do the job perfectly at a fraction of the big name prices. They are well priced but the aluminum construction is a little thin and is not as robust as OEM Sony lenses so they need reasonable care in handling.
Customer Review: Nice filters but...
These filters fit quite nicely with my Vixia HF100 except for the fact that when you have more than one filter attached (i.e UV + PL) you can see the edge of the filters when you are fully zoomed out,

Canon DC330 1.07MP DVD Camcorder with 37x Optical Zoom

Customer Review: great cam
great camcorder for the price. perfect for taking family videos or youtube stuff. had it for a year with no problems. stick with the mini dv, the sdram video is too slow and the HD is limited.
Customer Review: Not 48x Optical Zoom, but 37x !
One remark: The camera has 37x OPTICAL ZOOM and 48x Advanced Zoom (optical + digital combined), a proprietary technology of Canon. This is true for the 320 and 310 also.

Canon ZR600 MiniDV Camcorder with 25x Optical Zoom

List Price: $349.99
Used Price: $165.00
Customer Review: Good budget camcorder
This is a basic camcorder with little frills and seems to do its job well. My previous Canon camcorder model stopped being recognized by the computer (I am pretty sure I did it by accidentally plugging the cable backwards into the Firewire port). I needed a new one to continue family videography, and transfer the old tapes over. This one came at at attractive sale price, and did the job.
Customer Review: Canon ZR600
Nice camcorder, a little hard to use. dont understand all the instructions. Probably my fault for not being able to read well. there is a lot to remember without looking at the instruction book. The book might be better organized. I like the camcorder.

List Price: $49.99

Customer Review: I'm glad I bought this for my TG1
This case looks good, and most importantly works well. It is only really great if you intend to use it with the belt loop and attach it to your pants. The belt loop part is small so you need to use a fairly thin narrow belt, but otherwise, the camcorder fits well, and is very easy to pull out when you need to film something. Of course, this also means it's not at all theft resistant so keep that in mind. I also like the fact that it's semi-hard so I'm not worried that it will crush the camcorder if I brush up against something or lean on it a bit. The magnetic clasp is strong enough that if the case is on your belt, there is little chance it will fall out unless you are doing skipping rope or something, I never had a situation where the flap came loose after a week of vacationing. I looked at other camera bags but I have no regrets and would buy it again if I managed to lose it or something.
Customer Review: perfect
This cary case is just perfect for the small sony camcorder we just bought. It's feels as sleek as it looks and doesn't add much weight to the total package. When we're not using the camcorder, its got a place to go, in the bag. My husband droped it (with camcorder inside) just a week after we got it. It protected the camera and came up with a few scratches that you can't even really notice. It's done a good job of a cary and portect case so far.

ENTHUSIAST CAMCORDER ACCESSORY KIT FOR CANON HV30

Customer Review: Get what you pay for
Overall, I have been happy with the purchase, but it is a case of get what you pay for. There is a reason this kit is cheaper than buying everything individually. The lens and filters, extra battery, cleaning kits and tapes make the kit worth it. The light works, but it is not as bright as I was hoping. The bag is barely big enough to hold a camera, let alone any accessories. The tri-pod works, but it is a bit flimsy.

Customer Review: JVC Everio hard disk camcorder GZ-MG330
Great little camcorder for the money. I've always had great results from purchasing JVC Products. It is easy to handle and shooting with it is a breeze. My only dissapointment is with the instructional documentation which accompanies the camera. The explanation of saving video to the hard drive, external hard drive and burning to a DVD are quite sketchy. There is a pretty neat looking editing program which installed with the program, which has no instructions at all. Oh, well. Maybe you will have JVC send me an instruction booklet so I might use it.The camera was a sound buy however, and as usual Amazon did a fine job of getting it to me in a timely fashion.

Canon 1305B001 WD-H37C Wide Converter Lens for HF10, HF100 & HR10 Camcorders

Price: $190.00
Customer Review: Perfectly fits ... works great ... and never comes off my camera
I bought this lens within a week of buying Vixia HF100. I knew it would be useful if I want to capture wider shots, but I was having a hard time justifying it's price (I paid $140 back in May 2008 I guess). I bought it anyway because I liked the build quality, read good reviews, and felt that it complimented my Vixia HF100 very well too. But ever since I first used it, I have rarely taken it off. Seriously. Once you shoot with this lens on, and see that your videos capture a lot more without any visible distortion (except when you have geometrically straight lines in the backdrop e.g. pillars) you will be tempted to keep it on all the time. I even love the look of the camera with this lens on, and feel something is missing if I ever take it off for some reason. As others have said, this lens does block the light and flash. I suspect it blocks the mic too. I haven't bothered to confirm the extent to which it impacts voice recording, but it's certainly not significant. So overall, I think this is a great buy. a MUST-HAVE item if you own Vixia HF100, HF10 or HF11. Actually, a lens of such a superior quality is a great buy for any 37mm camera that you can fit it on. P.S: On a side note, I feel the color and overall appearance of this lens suits the silver HF100 much more than the black HF10. So granted HF10 looks more sexy in black, but if you end up keeping this lens on all the time like I (and most others do), then I think you'll be happier if you owned the HF100 :-)
Customer Review: must have
if you've purchased a hf-10 or hf-11, i will assume you are pretty serious about video or at least serious as an amateur. i purchased this item based on reviews and interest for shooting groups, landscapes etc. IMHO, this is a *must have* for the camera. I never take it off. so since you've made the investment to take great video, it's highly worth it to pick up this item.

Panasonic HDC-SD100 Flash Memory High Definition Camcorder with 12x Optical Zoom

List Price: $1,681.92
Amazon Price: $857.81

Customer Review: Very good camera for your dollar
This is my 3rd HD camera. I first had a JVC HD-7 which took very good video in high outdoor light only, indoors was utterly very poor. I do a lot of videos of my toddler indoors and even with all the lights on it was very poor quality so I went with the panasonic new 3MOS system for all the praise it got on low light conditions. That was the worst camera I've ever ever used. the video quality was like a camera phone. This camera is my favorite of the 3. IT's very very small but heavy and feels very well built. I love the fact that I can dock it on it's little cradle and no fiddling with usb and power cables. I love that it closes the lens cover automatically unlike the jvc. I love the touch screen. The video in high light is very good, probably as good as the more robust 26Mbps mpeg recording of the jvc. low light is still not everything I would hope but still better than the jvc and a million times better than the panasonic 3MOS chip. It's good enough to make me happy after two HD failures. on another note, bundled software is lacking power. This camera is capable of 60i but for some odd reason the bundled software is not. you can only use power director if you record in 30p mode. even premiere cs4 saw the 60i mp4 files as 15fps and would not convert them right. AVS video tools finally worked well for me and has an available lifetime upgrade option.

Customer Review: warning! Be careful with compatibility
All Canon HDV cameras has an important issue: if you record in 24F or 30F modes, the tapes can only be played back in the camera itself. Canon records those signals in a proprietary mode that is not HDV compliant. YOU CANNOT PLAYBACK THE TAPES IN ANY DECK OR CAMERA other than Canon.

Kata CC-193 Camcorder Shoulder Case

List Price: $175.00
Amazon Price: Too low to display
Customer Review: Perfect for the DVX100B and cameras in that size/weight range
It suits my needs perfectly. I store the shotgun mike in the outside pocket. I put my extra battery and tapes in one corner pocket and the lav mikes in the other. The rest of the minor stuff (charger etc) fits perfectly in the large side pocket. The camera is perfectly stable and held down by a strap. The packaging all round is sturdy foam. If you're thinking of carrying this for regular shoots with your tripod et all, it's a good idea to buy this but if you're hiking or wandering through and just want to pull your camera out for shooting on the run, you're better off purchasing a backpack case. KATA has some pretty good options in that area as well. For long term storage of your equipment, buy a steel case - the Panasonic one that's specially moulded for your DVX100B.
Customer Review: Good Quality Buy!
Well I just got this bag for my Panasonic ag-dvx100b and it works great! I will say straight away however I have only had this for a few days, but from what I've seen, it works amazingly. The bag's corners are very rigid to protect it from even moderate hits and the material the outside walls are made of seem very durable. The inside is a nice yellow padding felt like fabric with three dividers. two horizontal shorter ones, and a long one that runs the whole length of the bag. The strap is large and very comfortable, spreading the weight of a possibly heavy camera. All in all this bag looks like it will protect your equipment from certain degrees of pain. It is no metal case, so don't sit on it or toss it, yet for what you pay it will give you a very nice sense of security with easy access and comfort.

Customer Review: Why!
Why Polaroid is still in business? What is the company thinking when it launches this camera. Company needs to create products that customer wants, so customer can continue to buy. I will never buy anything that they make anymore. It feels like Polaroid bought some other company's camera and put its label on the camera. So Polaroid don't care what customer think. If Polaroid management is reading this, please consider to recall all 725S.
Customer Review: No good for Mac users.
Videos won't play or import into iMovie, which begs the question... what is the point? Way to render your product completely useless for a large part of your audience, Polaroid.

20 Pack 8cm/3" Mini DVD-R for SONY, HITACHI, PANASONIC, CANON AND SAMSUNG DVD CAMCORDERS

Price: $39.99
Customer Review: Good price for decent quality
The Recordable DVD-R's work great. Just they seem to last a bit shorter. I do recommend these though, more the merrier and they are just as good for about any other.
Customer Review: Don't buy from this vendor!
This is an utterly horrific vendor. Ordered product was never received and its been 5 weeks.
